DEMÀ / TOMORROW
English version below
ENGLISH
Tonight, laying on the bed I'll stare at the ceiling of my room, in the dark, with my eyes wide open and my heart beating like a thousand drums. And like every night I will toss and turn unable to sleep. But tonight will be different, because it is the last one. The last one I'll sleep at home for the next three months, the last I'll hug my pillow and I'll cover with my blankets. The last one before the adventure I've been so long awaiting. I will sleep a few hours, with a knot of nerves and excitement in the stomach. And a little bit of fear. Fear because it is the first time that I'll be away for so long, away from my people and everything I know. It is not only another country, it is another continent. With people I don't know, with whom I'll share everything, and I guess it scares me to know that the people that are and have been my support, will be so far away.
And yet fear makes it all so much more exciting. Have you ever been on stage without a knot in your stomach? I have, and it is not half as much fun as going with shaky legs, a pumping heart and a nervous smile. The fear, the nerves, the uncontrolled emotions, add the madness that turn experiences into adventures.
A week nervous with those first date nerves, those that don't let you eat because they fill your stomach with butterflies, the chest with a sensation that brings you to hug yourself, those that make your imagination fly and leave in an extremely emotional and thrilling state.
Tomorrow everything starts in an airport, saying goodbye to our families, whom, like always, never fail you and are by your side at every step you take; carrying a bag on our backs and another one, full to the tops that will rest in the belly of the plane, and a travel companion.
Tomorrow everything starts and how incredible it is to share it with the world.
